Service Stations / Fuel Islands

Service Stations Inherently Have Hazardous Material

Due to the toxicity of fuel and other fluids found at service stations, care must be taken during cleaning. Lubricants, used oil, grease, antifreeze, spilled fuel and other materials should not be swept, washed or flushed into floor drains, sinks, toilets, sewers, sumps or other drains or the street. Hazardous material from service stations must be properly disposed of.
